Wilma Dean Emery, 85, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024. She grew up in Sale Creek and has been a member of Delashmitt Rd Baptist Church for most of her life. Wilma retired from Chattanooga Bakery after over thirty years of service. She was a member of the Betsy Ross Eastern Star organization. Wilma's love was for her family and enjoyed traveling. She was a fiery woman, who let you know what she was thinking even if you didn't want to hear. Some would call her sassy, but was also a sweet and loving soul.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over forty years, Marion Murphy Emery, parents, Ray and Inez Adams, brothers, Billy and Sonny Adams, sisters, Betty Jo Hall and Anna York.

Wilma is survived by her children, Phyllis (David) Hensley, Sharon (Curtis) Broadway and Brian (Dana) Emery, grandchildren, Travis, Adam and Josh Hensley, Ashley Masterson, Katelyn Broadway, Corey and Murphy Emery and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4-7pm. Graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 12:30pm.
