William Scott Banister born July 29, 1969, passed away at home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28, 2022.

Scott was a long time Native of Red Bank, TN but most presently from Rossville, GA. He was a graduate of Red Bank High School class of 1987, and then studied Machine Tool Technology at Chattanooga State Community College. Scott was an accomplished machinist for many years of his life. He served as an Army Veteran, a first responder who served the community during 9/11 and a volunteer fireman for over thirty five years. Scott was also an avid musician and biker.

Preceded in death by his mother, Linda Kay Doyle.

Survived by his daughter, Brittany Nichols (Dallas), son, Kullen Rogers, sister, Debra Ellis, fiancé, Jan Anderson, niece, Danielle Moore (Thomas), grandson, Oliver Nichols, grand-niece, Bethany Moore, father, William N. Banister, best friends, Jason Nelson (Robyn) and Jerry Scroggins (Paige).
Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Friday, November 4, 2022 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
