Valerie Popovich, 91, of Hixson, TN, died Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

She was born in London England to the parents of Charles and Rose. Valerie was a dedicated wife and mother. She met the love of her life, Steve, in 1956 in England while he was stationed there with the USAF.

Valerie leaves behind her children, Michelle Zellner, Thomas Popovich (Lora), James Popovich, and Leslie Wortman (Patrick). Valerie was a Nana to three grandchildren - Stephanie Haines (Albert), Victoria Chavers,and Steven Zellner (Devinia) and one great grandchild - Tala Chavers.

Valerie will always be remembered for her kindness and quick dry sense of humor. We'll always imagine hearing her say "Hells Bells" one more time. We couldn't have asked for a better mother and will miss her everyday. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers consider making a donation to the Salvation Army in moms name.
