Thomas "Steve" Stephen Cox, 63 of Hixson, TN passed away on May 25, 2022. He was born September 17, 1958 and a loving son to Tom and Reba Cox.

Steve was a veteran who served as a Sargent in the U.S. Army. While there he received the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Marksman Badge (rifle), and Expert Badge (hand grenades) He was an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and Braves; he also enjoyed his cats. Steve was a loving man who could fix anything and worked so hard at all that he did. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Steve is survived by his mother, Reba Gunter Cox, son, Christopher Cox, daughter, Courtney Cox, one granddaughter Lillith, one grandson, little Chris, as well as loving partner, Debbie Markham.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tom Cox.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 6 ^th , 2022 from 10:00am until 12:00pm.

A graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors Monday, June 6 ^th , 2022 at 12:30pm.
