Sylvia " Nyoka" Harvey, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022.

She will be missed by all that knew her.

Nyoka was of Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Tince" Harvey; sons, Joe, Gary, Johnny C. Harvey; parents, Sylvester and Irene Newsom.

Survivors include her daughter, Analisa Dease; grandson, Sean O'Malley; granddaughter, Jessica Land; great grandsons, Kevin Peyton, Lucas O'Malley and Garrett Harvey Land; great granddaughter, River Land; sisters, Joan Williams, Wanda McCollum, Marica Hartman, Carol Smith and many friends.

A celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to any Heart or Lung Association of your choice.
