Emma "Sue" Harris, 82, of Hixson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her home.

Sue was a longtime member of White Oak Baptist Church. She was known for helping in any way she could. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Russell Littlejohn and Ruby Wallin Littlejohn; brothers, Charles Littlejohn, Ralph Edward Littlejohn and Harold Littlejohn.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Dewey A. Harris, Sr.; daughters; Kimberly (Darell) Patterson, Leslie A. Harris, son; Dewey Allen Harris, Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua Patterson, Jessica Patterson (Nick) Ibarra; great grandchildren, Luke Higgins and Camila Ibarra; grand dogs, Izzy Harris and Bella Harris; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with Dr. Tony L. Wilson officiating.

Mrs. Harris will be laid to rest at Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 12: 00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
