Stephen "Steve" Higgins of Hixson, TN passed away on May, 5th 2026. Visitation will be on Saturday May 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Hamilton Funeral Home.

The Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:30 PM on Saturday May 9th 2026 at Hamilton Funeral Home.

Steve Higgins is survived by his loving wife Janet Higgins. His eldest son Stephen & Selene Higgins. His Youngest son Bryan & Hannah Higgins. His mother Mary & Sid Tucker. His brothers Mike Morgan & Craig Higgins. His grandchildren Luke Higgins & Adrian Higgins.

He was preceded in death by His father Arthur Higgins and his brother Alvie Morgan.

Steve Higgins was raised in Glascow Kentucky. He was a great man that always strove to help those around him. For 30 years he dedicated himself to his work at Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN where he was known for his Hard work and reliability. Outside of work, he found happiness in the simple things his El Caminos, spending time with his family, and being actively involved in his sons' lives, including participating in Boy Scouts activities that created lasting memories for them all. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for his family and the quiet but meaningful way he impacted those around him. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished so deeply.
