Stanley "Stan" Charles Cure, 82, of King of Prussia, PA, beloved Dad, Granddaddy, and Uncle Stanley, passed away of natural causes on January 7, 2023.

Stan was born in Chattanooga, TN on March 6, 1940. He was the third child of Harry and Hannah Mae Cure, joining two sisters in the household. He graduated from Chattanooga HS in 1958 and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Chattanooga in 1962. After receiving his degree, Stan served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Captain.

Stan will be remembered by those who knew him for his sense of humor and his love of sports and politics. He would reliably bring a smile to his and his companions' faces with his pun-filled wit and his delight in telling the corniest of jokes. He was a lifelong fan of the Brooklyn, and then Los Angeles, Dodgers; and as an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan, he could talk college football with anyone all day.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry; his mother, Hannah Mae; his stepmother, Freda; and his former wife, Norma.

He is survived by sons, Marc (Angela) Cure and Lee (Elizabeth) Cure; grandchildren, Stephen, Norah, Bryson, Lucas, and Matthew; and sisters, Eleanor (Sam) Brody and Louise (Leo) Benatar.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 1:00pm in B'nai Zion Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
