Sarah Charlene "Charlie" Lee, 76, of Soddy Daisy, passed away February 20, 2024. She was born August 19, 1947 to the late Charles and Sarah Lewis. God gave her the gift of being a caregiver, and though she was small in stature she was big at heart. Her family was always her first priority and wouldn't think twice about giving her last dollar to a stranger.

Charlie was a Jehovah Witness and had many friends in her Bible study that she loved. She enjoyed fishing and her truck driving days so much she would work her stories into every conversation. Charlie worked many jobs in her lifetime including waitressing, seamstress, fork lift driver and was a hairdresser, but she loved truck driving most of all.

Charlie is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee, parents, Charles and Sarah (Reynolds) Lewis, son, Charlesray Smith, sisters, Jean Johnson, Exie Lewis, and Faye Lee and great grandson Ethan Wise.

She is survived by her daughters, Alpha (Bill) Keedy and Cecilia (Rayan) McClure, son, Joseph (Terri) Smith, brothers, Charles Lewis, Carlos Lewis and Billy Lewis, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10am. Graveside service will follow at Cassville Cemetery in Cartersville, GA.
