Ryan Fisher, 42, of Chattanooga, TN passed peacefully on January 6th surrounded by his family.
Ryan was born in Syracuse, NY, and grew up in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of Warren and Kathleen (Hosley) Fisher. Ryan is survived by his wife Michelle (Kicia) Fisher and son William. Ryan graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and earned a Nutrition Sciences degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.
Ryan is also survived by his sister Aimee (Moon) Passino, brother Jason (Lisa) Fisher, sister Farrah (Michael) Daviero, Uncle Lawrence (Eden) Fisher, Uncle Frederick (Rita) Hosley, cousins James Keegan, Jerry Keegan, Jon Keegan, Jeffrey Keegan, Diana Simmons, Erin (Bill) Fisher-Root, Alesha Buchholz, Erika Buchholz, Steven Buchholz, Frederick Hosley, Jessica Hosley, Emily Hosley, Uncle to Christine Fisher, Jaxon Passino, Jordan Buchas, Ethan Passino, Adam Bisner, Katelyn Passino and Chloe Daviero and Great Uncle to Freida Zuck. Ryan is preceded in death by Aunt Pamela (Fisher) Keegan, Aunt Karen (Hosley) Salvi and Cousin Joe Fisher.
Following college, Ryan moved to Savannah, GA with his best friend David Landrigan. Savannah proved the right move as he met the love of his life, and future wife Michelle, there. While in Savannah, Ryan worked for the Chatham County School system as a Nutrition Supervisor and later also managed restaurants. The easy conversationalist we all knew him to be, both roles were a natural fit for him. After Ryan and Michelle moved to Chattanooga, their son William was born and Ryan moved back into the school system. He wanted to use his degree again and give back to his local community and started working as a Nutrition Supervisor for the Hamilton County Schools.
Ryan was an outdoor enthusiast. Whether he was hiking Poke-O-Moonshine in the Adirondacks, hiking the local trails around Chattanooga with his wife and son or walking the beach during family vacations, being outdoors always kept a smile on his face. When he wasn't outside, Ryan could be found enjoying watching his beloved Washington Redskins or Boston Red Sox take down their opponents.
