Ruth Ellen Roscoe, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 in an area health care facility.

Mrs. Roscoe was born in Elaine, Arkansas but had lived in Chattanooga most of her life.  She was the wife of the late

Col. Dallas G.Roscoe and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Houston and Effie Appling Quinn, Sr.

Survivors include two sisters, Janie Cummings and Gladys Busby; brother, J.H. (Sandra) Quinn,Jr.; several special

nieces, nephews along with a great nephew, Nicholas Cummings Samples and great niece, Tessa Quinn Cummings.

Ruth was known as "Aunt Ellen" to many friends and family.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic a private service will be held with Rev. Bill Harvey officiating.  Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
