R onald "Ron" E. Fisher

Ronald E. Fisher, 75, entered Heaven on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Born in Sparta, Tennessee, Ron was the middle-child of three children.  He graduated from Hixson High School (class of '68) and served his country in the United States Army from 1970-1972.  His vocational career included a variety of roles at Mueller Corporation, DuPont, and over 20 years of service as a maintenance technician for Stone Fort Land Company and Luken Holdings.

Ron was a devoted husband and a father that led by example.  He demonstrated a strong work ethic in every endeavor and loved serving people. Whether at his church (New Salem Baptist), at work, or strangers that crossed his path, his compassion for people was evident through his efforts to 'see the good in them' and offer a helping hand.  Ron touched those around him by making serving them a priority.

His pleasure in life was sports – with a passion for cheering-on the Vols, running, participating in recreational sports (softball, basketball) and enjoying automobile racing.

Ron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia; son, Jeremy (Lara); grandchildren, Jude Fisher and Norah Fisher; sisters, Rita Fisher and Rebecca Fisher; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff at Morning Pointe of Hixson for their exceptional care; and to Ron's longtime friends who continued to include him in their weekly gatherings and seasonal adventures until the end.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association https://lbda.org

A celebration of life event is being planned and will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343, (423) 531-3975.
