Richard M. (Rick) Cowart passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 8, 2021 after a courageous battle of esophageal cancer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Cowart and father, Hugh Cowart.

Survivors include his mother, Sandra VanCovern; brother and sister-in-law, John and Paula Cowart; son, Kenneth Narramore; granddaughter, Lilli Narramore; niece, Christine Ready and family; nephew, Wesley Cowart and family.

Rick and Julie re-located from Houston, Texas to be close to her family. They were owners of Box-It for over 15 years. They loved living on the side Signal Mountain for 20 years. Rick was an avid golfer until his stroke 5 years ago.

There will be a memorial service at a later date in his hometown, Houston, TX.
