Reba Harkins Lanier, 90, of Ooltewah, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Lanier was born in Dalton, Georgia and had lived in Chattanooga for the past 68 years.

She graduated from Westside High School and Edmondson Business College.  She attended Calvary Bible Church.

She retired from Dupont with over 30 years of service.  She was an avid world traveler and a devoted Tennessee Vols football fan.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father,Oliva and J.O. Harkins and a brother, C.Y. Harkins.

Survivors include her husband, J.C. Lanier, daughter, Jackie (Dennis) Potts, Chattanooga; two  sisters, Nova Hasty, Dalton; Ruth Harris, Chattanooga; two grandsons, Brandon(Becca) Potts, Ringgold, GA; Corey (Jessica) Potts, Haubstadt, Indiana; four great granddaughters, Kendall, Carly, Maggie and Logan, several nieces &nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at National Cemetery with Dr. Bill Henry officiating.

There will be no visitation.
