Ramona Hamby, passed away April 30, 2022. She was born July 30, 1930 in Lawrenceburg, TN to Ansol and Hettie Chambers.

Ramona was resident of Hixson, TN and member of Burks United Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed baking, cooking and sharing her time with all of her church friends. Ramona was all about her family and especially close and inseparable from her sister Genece before she passed. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of twenty five years, Millard C. Hamby, parents, Ansol and Hettie (Sutton) Chambers, brother, Charles Sutton and Charles Edward Sutton Jr, who was raised as a brother and sisters, Genece Mckamey and Geneva Crabb.

Ramona is survived by her daugters Karon Postlethwaite (Bernard), Sharon Haskiell (Robert) and Janis Pandur, ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4 ^th , 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Hamilton Funeral Home.

A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, May 4 ^th , 2022 at 12:00pm at Hamilton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
