Paul Wayne Curtis, 72, of Middle Valley passed away at home surrounded by family Thursday, March 30, 2023. He was born April 28, 1950, in Chattanooga to the late Paul and Mary (Shrum) Curtis.

Wayne was a graduate of Grundy County High School and worked in consumer retail sales until he retired in 2018. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his grandchildren and his special dog "Buddy". Wayne alongside his wife Tommie enjoyed traveling together and visiting family and friends. He was the consummate family man who was beloved by his family and friends. Wayne had kind words for everyone and had a great sense of humor. He was loved by his family very much and they will miss him terribly. His kindness, sincerity, and love will never be forgotten by those who met him and all who knew him.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Wesley and Mary Ellen (Shrum) Curtis, maternal grandparents, Andrew and Della Mae Shrum of Palmer, TN, paternal grandparents, William Jackson and Katherine Curtis of Tracie City, TN.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Tommie (Fairbanks) Curtis, daughter, Stephanie and David Antokal of St. Petersburg, FL, son, Blake and Lechelle Curtis of Chattanooga, grandchildren, Levi, Lucas and Brystol Curtis all of Middle Valley, TN. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory a brother and sister-in-law, William David and Debbie Curtis of Harrison, TN, and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday, April 3, 2023, from 11:00 am until funeral service time at 12:00 in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
