Mason L. Williams 88 of Hixson passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Mason was born August 13, 1935 in Rossville, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents Luke Ervin and Olive Ethel Williams and Brother Luke Ervin Williams Jr. (Joyce).

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Anna Ruth Rice Williams, Son Jeff Williams (Julie) and Daughter Patti W. McDaniel (Greg). Five grandsons Jonathan (Maggie), Joel (Lindsey), Jacob Williams and Luke and Paul McDaniel. Sister Lillian Marie Williams Everett (Gladston) and many Nieces and Nephews.

He was a member of Hixson Presbyterian Church. He loved telling people about Jesus. Sometimes he used words.

In Lieu of flowers you may contribute to Hixson Presbyterian Church Missions or Hospice of Chattanooga.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
