Obituary

Susan (Baggett) Hagedorn of Chattanooga, died peacefully in her sleep after a short illness.

Susan, formally of Dalton, GA, was a graduate of Eastbrook High School. She worked many years in accounting, and retired most recently from T-Mobile. Following retirement, she completed what she considered her greatest work; by being a full-time Grammy, to her grandsons, Cameron and Wade. Susan's greatest joys came when playing with her grandsons, who always brought a smile to her face.

Susan was a longtime member of OLPH, and deeply committed to her faith. She was known by many for her kindness, generosity and the love she spread daily; always the bright spot to all of those who met her. Susan was a great example to women, young and old, by being a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many people.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Bob Hagedorn. She is survived by daughters, Leah (Paul) Apyan, Polly (Bill) Agee, grandsons Cameron and Wade Apyan, sisters Cathy (Fred) Clift and Pegie (Perry) Hodges.

A Catholic Mass will be held for Susan on March 5, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH), and she will be buried alongside her husband in Cape Girardeau, MO at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Home, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson (423) 531-3975.
