Marilyn Hooser – 11/28/1934 – 7/17/2022

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." 2 Cor. 5:8

Marilyn met her Lord and Savior face to face on the afternoon of July 17, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Tulare, CA on 11/28/1934 to Winnie G. Fore and was the first of four girls.

She is survived by her son Craig (Kathy) Hooser of Sequim, WA, daughter Anne Hooser of Chattanooga, TN, sisters Patricia and Sue and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Doug, husband Merlin (Squirt), mother Winnie and sister Wanda.

Marilyn was a very strong and independent woman who loved her family well. She was a very creative and talented person whether it was intricate knitting, leatherworking, oil and watercolor painting, photography, sewing, gardening, dog showing and much more. She was a Girl Scout troop leader and lifetime member of Soroptimist International. Along with that, she enjoyed camping in places where she saw God, one of her favorites being Yosemite, horse packing in the Sierra Nevadas and racing micro midget race cars. But most importantly, she loved the Lord and served him faithfully her whole life.

Her children rise up and call her blessed and will miss her deeply but know she is in the presence of the

Lord and at peace.
