Mamie Louise Stubblefield Fisher also known as "Hon", (100), of Redbank, TN passed away October 5, 2022.  She was born in one of the oldest cabins in the state on September 12, 1922 in Sherwood, TN.

Hon went to school at Sinking Cove Community School house in Sherwood. She was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. Hon cherished her family and was crazy about her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Later in life she managed a restaurant and enjoyed cooking delicious southern food. It was very common for Hon to hit the open road in search of adventure or family. She would pile the kids up in the car and take off on a drive, sometimes leaving with no idea where she was off to. Hon loved to travel, long drives, crossword puzzles, practical jokes, and playing rook with her family; well known to cheat every now and then. She was a bossy and feisty woman but she sure loved her family and would do anything for them and with them. Hon was a wonderful and loving woman who will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Fisher, parents, Andrew and Beulah Stubblefield, sons, Lark Gifford JR. and Vernon Eugene Gifford, brothers, AJ, Roy, Leon and Jimmy Stubblefield, sisters, Virginia Vandergriff and Christine Canale.

Hon is survived by her daughter, Shirley Gifford, brother, Elbert Stubblefield, grandchildren Beth Carter, Heidi Ham, Vickie Sledge, Lacy Gifford, Zach Gifford and Jim Gifford, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm and continue Monday, October 10, 2022 from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Hamilton Funeral Home Monday, October 10, 2022 at 3:00pm with Reverend Odell Broadway officiating.

Interment will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
