Luke R. Roberts, of Hixson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at a local healthcare facility from a rare disease P.S.P. Parkinsonism.

Luke was employed by Jake Marshall Company for over 30 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Luke was an avid hunter and fisherman most of his life.

Luke was preceded in death by his parents,  Paul & Sarah Roberts, Siblings, Louise Legg, Barbara Roberts, Henry & Floyd Houts and Hazel Goodson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sharon Roberts; two sons, Paul Bruce (Shannon)  Roberts; Chris (Denise) Layne; grandson, Dylan C. Roberts;  Siblings, Arthur (Virgia) Roberts; Robert Roberts and Lucy Gaffney, several nieces & nephews, all of Chattanooga.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, September 3, 2021 at Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gladden Coe officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.on Thursday at the funeral home.  Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Tuesday September 6, 2021 at 12 Noon.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Chattanooga especially Brittany for home care. A special thanks to Carrie and Karen (Sissy) at Hospice Care Center for their loving care of Luke.
