Lucretia Ann Schurer Morgan (Lu) of Hixson, Tennessee, passed on from this life on June 20, 2021. She was 48 years old. She is originally from Jacksonville, Florida but has lived in the Chattanooga area for 30 years.

She was an avid Florida Gators fan. She had a passion for being a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crafting, decorating, and repainting furniture.

She was preceded in her death by her mother, the beloved Betty Ann Odmann; aunts, Barbara and Kay; uncles, Wayne, Ronnie, and  Rick preceded.

Survivors include her two  daughters, Brittany (husband Jason) Rogers, Haley (husband Alan) Hearon; granddaughters, Faith and Morgan; sisters, Brandy (husband Tim) Howard and Kim (husband Marcus) Ferguson; brother, Paul (wife Katherine) Schurer Jr.; father, Paul (wife Robin) Schurer, Sr.; stepfather, Mark Odmann; nephews, Austin (wife Taylor) Temple and Joshua Schurer;  boyfriend, Allen Worthy and  many friends.

The family is very grateful for the SICU team at Erlanger, who cared for her.

Funeral services to celebrate and honor the life of Lucretia will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service in the chapel.
