Lois Ruth Geralds was called home by her heavenly father on December 31, 2022, following a lengthy struggle with multiple medical issues.

Lois was born to Carl and Josephine Toelke on August 15, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Luther High School North in Chicago, Illinois in 1962 and subsequently trained to be a dental assistant. Once married in January of 1965, Lois was mainly a wife, a mother, and a homemaker. She lived in Hixson, Tennessee for 44 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in the yard, and playing with her puppies.

Preceding Lois in death were her parents, brothers Carl, Jr. and Robert, and infant daughter Laura Lynn.

Survivors include her husband of almost 58 years Glenn Geralds, sons Glenn "Gordon" Geralds II in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Eric Geralds in Atlanta, Georgia, grandchildren Christian, True, Calista, and Maddox, and many in-laws and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service may be held at a later date.

Interment will be a Highland Memorial Gardens in Knoxville, Tennessee, close to daughter Laura.

In lieu of flowers consistent with Lois' lifelong love of animals, please make a contribution to the animal rescue or welfare charity of your choice.
