Rev. Larry J. Costner

Brother Larry was called home on Monday August 22, at the age of 69. Born September 25, 1952 Larry enjoyed fast cars, James Taylor's music, and testifying the word of his Lord and Savior. His love of helping others and love of the Lords word lead him to be called to preach. He completed his undergraduate degree in religion from Belmont University then went on to complete a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Brother Larry is preceded in death by his Father: H.C. Costner, Stepfather: Willis Whaley, and granddaughter Juliana Bryson. Survived by his wife, of 46 years, Sheryl Costner Daughters: Kim (Brenna Harris) Costner, Jessica Costner, Crystal (Corey) Emery, Alison (Jake) Bryson. Grandchildren: Zoey Emery, Zane Emery, Skyler Emery, Jaxon Bryson; Mother: Jean Whaley, Sister: Kay Crane, Brother: Phil Whaley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Smith and Rev. Tyler Trivette officiating.

Larry will be laid to rest at Hamilton County Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to either the American Cancer Society ( Donate3.cancer.org), or Delashmitt Road Baptist Church (4709 Delashmitt Rd., Red Bank, TN. 37415)
