Joe C. Yother, 79, of Signal Mountain, departed for heaven on September 11, 2020.

Joe was a Christian who loved God, his family and his country.  He was an active and faithful member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church and a member of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class.

Joe attended Tennessee Military Academy and was commissioned 2 ^nd Lt., served in the United States Army for six years, and later enlisted with the Air National Guard, retiring after 26 years of service.

Joe also, retired from BellSouth Telecommunications after 31 years of service.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mildred Yother.

Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Katherine "Katie" Yother; daughter, Lynn (Curtis) Hamrick; granddaughter, Katie (Brandon) Parrish of Chatsworth, GA.,

A Military graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020 with Pastor, Dustin Taylor officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
