Jerry Rhonell Williams, 62, of Red Bank, TN passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

He was born in Chattanooga, TN and was a retired mail carrier at the United States Postal Service.  He loved boating, fishing, football, basketball (mostly TN Volunteer football and basketball) and sports in general.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joel R. Williams; mother, Carolyn R. Williams; uncles and aunts.

Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory, best friend, fishing partner, partner in crime and wife, Jola M. Williams; son, Cliffton (David) McEirson; sister, Rana Dodson; niece, Angela (Jess, Jake, Ryan) Beihoffer.

He fought a long hard battle with pancreatic cancer for close to 2 years.  He was fierce and his brave, strong fight reflected as much.  He was a provider and protector who loved his family and friends.  He could tell a story so good you might think you were right in the middle of it as if it were happening to you.

He will be remembered every day but especially on every upcoming fishing trip and Saturday game day.  In his last days, he said, when he was gone, he would be the sound of the train whistle going CHOO-CHOO!  Listen for him and remember!

May our hearts be at peace knowing he is in heaven with God.  His body is healed and he's now our angel watching over us until we see him again.
