Jeanne Scott, 84, of Harrison went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Jeanne graduated from Birchwood School. After working in the Banking Industry and at Harrison Elementary School for many years, she retired from TVA. She was a member of Harrison United Methodist Church.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Gladys Grishom, her husband of 50 years John G. Scott, Sr., and her son, Stephen K. Scott.

Survivors include her son, John G. Scott, Jr. (Brandi), daughter Barbara "Sissy" Scott, granddaughter Alison (Fred) Greer, sister Colleen Smith and brother Larry Grishom (Terri).

Jeanne will be missed by her family and friends. She was one of the most giving people that you could ever meet. She never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need. Most of all, she was a dedicated mother and loved her family with all her heart.

The family will have a private graveside service.

There will be no public visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Samaritan's Purse.
