Kovacik
Apr 30, 1988 — Feb 2, 2026
Hixson
Jason Blaine Kovacik, 37, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2026.
Jason was born on April 30, 1988, in St. Louis, Missouri to Carol (Ruff) Sheahan and Keith Kovacik. Jason is survived by his wife, Andrea (Dierks) Kovacik; son, Baylor Kovacik; brother, Kyle Kovacik, and parents, Carol and Tim Sheahan and Keith and Anne Marie Kovacik.
He attended Christian Brothers College High School and is a graduate of Murray State University. He attended Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Chattanooga.
Jason was a devoted father and husband, always putting family first, devoting his time to Andrea and Baylor, going to the children's museum, aquarium, traveling, playing baseball, Legos, board games and more. He was a man of faith, a friend to all, and never met a stranger. Jason was passionate in business, a servant leader mentor to his co-workers and highly respected in his industry. He loved to solve problems at work, home and helping others. He never wanted to let anyone down – family, friend, customer or coworker. Jason loved to make people laugh, was involved in his church and always lit up the room when he walked in. He was an avid Cardinals baseball fan, Blues hockey fan, Kansas City Chiefs fan and Indiana Hoosier fan. He loved reading and learning, fishing, boating, hunting, hiking, backpacking, playing golf, snowboarding, skiing, camping and sitting around a bonfire with family and friends.
Jason's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, he is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Hamilton Funeral Home, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343 at 1 PM followed by the Celebration of Life service at 3 PM in the funeral home chape with Rev. H. Christopher Sheets officiating.
As a St. Louis native, a celebration of life will be planned for Jason in St. Louis at a later date.
