Janet M. Sandlin of Chattanooga, TN met her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Erlanger Baroness hospital surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Helensburgh, Scotland.

Janet left behind a loving husband of 50 years, Robert Sandlin; a daughter, Angelika Sandlin; a son, Robert JC Sandlin; Daughter-in-love, Dixie Sandlin; and 5 grandchildren: Michaela, Hannah, Samuel, Leia, and Luke Sandlin; 4 sisters, 6 sister-in-loves, and much extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary McCormack of Dunoon, Scotland and her sister Edith McPhee of Dunoon, Scotland; Her Father and Mother- in-love, Carl Sandlin and Mildred Sandlin, and a sister -in-love, Beverly Grant.

Janet was greatly loved in all her many homes as she was a faithful military wife. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ passionately. She brought smiles and laughter wherever she went with her nonsensical songs, silly hats, and unique perspectives. She spent much of time ministering to others through her hospitality and devoted spirit.

A service to honor her memory will be held at her home in Chattanooga, TN 6538 Lakeshore Parkway on March 18, 2025 from 12-3pm. All who wish to honor her memory are welcome.
