James Milton McGregor, 86, of Ringgold, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

Jim was born on December 12, 1934 in Oxford, MS, to the late Harry McGregor and Lillian Baggett McGregor.

He graduated from University High School in Oxford, MS, served in the United States Air Force and Air Reserve and was stationed at Flintstone Air Station, Lookout Mountain, GA.

Retired from First Tennessee Bank as a Vice President and was  a member of Abba's House in Hixson where he served as a Deacon.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Jean Hunter McGregor; son, Terry (Angie) McGregor; grandsons, Dillion (Elli) McGregor, Brandt (Kelsey) McGregor; granddaughter, Silvey McGregor; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home, with Pastor Angie McGregor officiating.

Jim will be laid to rest at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with military honors.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home.
