Jacqueline Marschak, 90, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 5, 2024 surrounded by those who loved her.

Jacqueline was born in Paris, France, moved to Algeria following her marriage to Joe Dejan. After their immigration to the United States, Chicago area, their marriage ended in divorce (son, Daniel). Jacqueline then married Howard Marschak and consequently moved to Chattanooga in 2003, where they shared a love for the arts. Together they spent winters in Sandestin, Florida playing tennis and enjoying the warmer weather. Following Howard's passing in 2006, Jacqueline met Leonard Murray on February 6, 2010 at the CSO Opera Show in Chattanooga.

"A glance across a crowded room, the rest is history," is how Leonard characterizes their 14 year loving relationship. "I loved her very much-to infinity."

Jacqueline supported the Chattanooga arts community, sharing that love with Leonard.
