Jacqueline "Jackie" Gale Erickson, died in her home in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday, June 14, 2025.  She was 92 years old.

She was a kind and loving caregiver to others.  Jackie worked for many years as Nanny and later cared for the elderly in their homes, including several family members.

She was also an avid genealogist and created an extensive family tree including many branches of the Anderson, Isaacson, and Erickson families.  Jackie enjoyed telling stories about her relatives and life in North Dakota and Minnesota, where she grew up.  She co-authored a book with Wayne and Carla Anderson titles "Our Swedish Roots", which told stories of our family ancestors.

She was a lifelong learner and an avid reader to the end.  Jackie was curious by nature and as she got older, she spent her time reading non-fiction and connecting with family. She was her happiest when talking with family members by phone or following them through social media.  Jackie once posted that they "are sunshine for your soul and medicine to your mind."

She was loved and appreciated by her extended family and will be sincerely missed.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Carl Erikson; sisters, Patricia Bohlig and Natalie Johnson; brother, Jerry Erickson.

Survivors include her two sisters, Carla Anderson and Darlene Wagner, 12 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces, great-nephews and several cousins.

A date and time for an online Celebration of Life will be announced soon.  Burial will be in the family plot in Braham, MN.
