Hiep Danh Thach (81) went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2024. Hiep was born on July 18, 1942 in Ca Mau, Vietnam. He had a kind and generous heart to help those who were in need. He loved people and enjoyed going to church.

Hiep met his wife in 1971 and married her that same year in a simple ceremony in Da Nang, Vietnam. He worked alongside the United States military in the Vietnam War and ultimately immigrated with his family to the US. They made a home in Chattanooga, TN and after 29 years of service he retired at the age of 62.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dao Thach and his children, Anh McCallie, Hung Thach (Angela), and John Thach, grandchildren, Conner McCallie, Logan McCallie, Ella McCallie, Caleb Thach, Brooke Thach, and Jericho Thach, who were all a joy to him. He loved spending time with them.

Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home Monday, February 5, 2024 from 10am to 12pm funeral service time. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
