Heriberto Gonzalez, 61, of Hixson, was born September 15, 1959 and passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Heriberto was our strength, loving, caring, protector to his wife, daughter, mother, and family.

He studied at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. Worked at Tennessee Valley Authorities as an Electrical Engineer for 37 years and retired in October 2019. He fought hard and strong for a month, but eventually lost the fight to covid. He loved spending time with family, astronomy, woodworking, electronics, 3D printing, Photography, and brewing beer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Enrique Gonzalez.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Gonzalez; daughter, Nicolette Gonzalez; mother, Pura Gonzalez; brothers, Enrique Gonzalez and Armando Gonzalez.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Joey Manis officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
