Heather Michelle Lemons Pascoe, 36, of Hixson, TN passed away unexpectedly on Monday  9/19/2022.  Heather was born in Hixson, TN to Shelia and Jim Lemons and was married to Stephen Pascoe.  She graduated from Hixson High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with Bachelor of Science degrees in Business and Human Resources.  She was employed as E-Commerce Coordinator at COS Business Products & Interiors.

Heather had a lifelong love for animals and had adopted and loved many cats and dogs.  She had just adopted a kitten, Fiona, in the week before her death to love and raise in addition to her other 2 cats and 2 dogs. Heather also had a keen interest in raising vegetables and flowers in her garden beds built by her husband and loved frequently texting photos of the abundant bounty to family and friends.  She used much of her vegetable harvest  in homemade food she made for her dogs.  The family jokingly described the many Loofah plants she raised in her beds as the annual Loofahpalooza Harvest.  Heather also developed a particular fondness for succulent, monstera, wondering jew, money trees & many other plants that she loved, cared for and showcased throughout her home. She was also renowned for her cooking. Many people even requesting she make dishes for them such as her legendary lasagna & chocolate ganache. She was also an avid bread maker & enjoyed cooking on the weekends.

During Heather's childhood, she enjoyed many family and school organized activities including scuba diving, dance, gymnastics, marching band, graduating Magna Cum Laude honors from college and she was an accomplished thespian.

Heather is survived by her parents, husband, sister Jessica (Desmond) Raymond and her niece and nephews (Alexis, Jackson, and Brody), as well as many (20+) on her husband's side who considered her more than just family but a truly wonderful & loving person.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life to honor Heather at Hamilton Funeral Home, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343 on Wednesday, 09/28/2022 between 2:00 and 6:00pm.   Friends and family are invited to visit and share their memories and stories of Heather's life.  Many of Heather's plants will be distributed throughout the building and each person is encouraged to take home a plant as a reminder of Heather's memory to keep in their hearts.  An offering of light food will be provided.

The family asks that those wishing to do so; in lieu of flowers please make a donation to McKamey Animal Center to recognize Heather's love for animals.
