Halia Haukea Rodrigues, tragically passed away November 9, 2023 and we bid farewell to her vibrant soul. She may have only been 14 years young, but her spirit soared higher than the heavens themselves. Oh, sweet Halia, a beacon of joy and laughter, she radiated an filled everyone with energy that was simply unparalleled.

In this vast and daunting world, Halia struggled to find her rightful place. Her beautiful and unique essence was a mystery even to herself, yet her loved ones saw a beauty that transcended the physical. From the adorable crinkles on her nose to the enchanting wrinkles around her infectious smile, Halia was a captivating vision that captivated all who knew her.

Regardless of the hardships she faced, Halia always managed to ignite the fire within others, bringing forth beaming smiles and boundless joy, even when her own heart was breaking. It is indescribable, the anguish that now consumes the hearts of those who loved her dearly. Though we take solace in knowing she is safe and at peace, the void she leaves behind is immeasurable.

As Halia embarks on her journey back into the arms of her creator, she leaves behind a trail of devastation among those who cherished her. Her dear mother, Leilani Carter, her brave father, Orlando, her two older sisters, Mikayla Rodrigues and Cidney Rodrigues, her beloved god sister, Tatyanna Perkins, and her precious baby brother, Cayman Carter – their hearts are wounded, and their souls ache.

But it doesn't end there, for Halia's impact touched far beyond the realms of her immediate family. Her Papa, Tom Downey, her cousin, Kenny Green, her Grandpa, Curtis Myles, her Granny, Sandra Cosby, her Grandma, Debbie Boyd, her Uncles, Craig Vanzant and Josh Myles, along with Vincent Houser, who all mourn the loss of this exceptional light that burned so brightly in our lives.

Our hearts collectively weep for Halia Rodrigues, a young angel whose wings were not meant for this earthly existence. May her spirit find eternal solace, and may her memory forever live on as a testament to the extraordinary impact she made during her all-too-brief time on this earth.
