Gary Wayne Brooks, 67, of Sale Creek, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Gary was a man that could talk to anyone about anything.

He loved his family and his church. He was the man that everyone went to for help and he was always there for everyone

that needed him.  He was quick to laugh and made everyone around him laugh as well.

Gary was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Maybelle Brooks.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Thacker Brooks; son, Charlie (Sandy) Elsea; daughter, Sherri (Tommy) May; grandchildren, Makalah (James) Bradley, Bailey Morgan, Ayden Elsea, Jayden Minyard, Stone May, Bryce May, Cami May, and Shelby Greenwood; great grandchildren, Colton Ricketts, Maisie Ricketts, River Bradley, Brayden Young, Aubrie Skiles, and Anzleigh Seavers; sisters, Darlene Britton, Bonnie (Don) Green; brother, Charles (Suki) Brooks; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home officiating will be Rev. Jay Reed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home prior to the service in the chapel.
