Earl Lamar Clem (89) of Harrison, Tennessee passed away on March 5, 2023. He was born July 24, 1933 in Athens, Alabama to Homer Mason Clem and Elna Rowe Pepper Clem.

Mr. Clem was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church, the Armstrong-Lyons Sunday school Class. He loved his church family and friends and had served in several positions in the church over his 50 odd years as a member. Mr Clem was retired for Combustion Engineering then went on to work for TVA as a Machinist. Mr. Clem also served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Peggy Bailey Clem, son, Clayton Lamar Clem and wife Diane Fortier Clem, son, Lemuel Keith Clem and wife Lynne Wick Clem, Sister, Marion Clem Murphy, Grandson, Matthew Lamar Clem and wife Aundrea Silvers Clem - Granddaughter, Ashley Michelle Clem, Great-Granddaughter, Savannah Kate Clem and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday, March 10, 2023 from 12:00pm until funeral service time at 1:00pm in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place Saturday, March 11, 2023 at an 11:00am (CST) at Athens City Cemetery in Athens, Alabama.
