Diane Holland, 82, of Hixson, God called her to be with Him on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

She was a resident of Chattanooga and in the last few years of her life was a resident of Life Care of Red Bank Nursing Home. The last 7 months of her life she struggled with loneliness and depression from the imposed COVID quarantine. This pandemic isolated her from family and friends and robbed us of time we will never have again. She died from isolation and a broken heart. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by mother and father Vera Orr and C.L "Pete" Daniel.

Survivors include her brother, Ronald Daniel, of  Decatur, TN.;  Daughter, Pamela Holland Schultz, of  Mobile AL.;  Son, Keith Norman Holland and daughter-in-law Michelle Holland;  Grandchildren, Whitney Schultz Phillips, Hunter Holland and Cole Holland,  Great-grandchildren, Charles Clark, Paisley Reeves and Lillian Holland Phillips.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2020 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Reverend Jim Buttram officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
