Diana Gail Johnson, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 after a short illness.

She was born in Chicago to George and Lois Steuerwald. She grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Milwaukee area. She was an active member of Hixson Presbyterian Church and especially enjoyed her small group. Diana was an avid knitter and volunteered at Hospice Knitters Out of Love, was a member of the Green Bay Packers Club and loved her cat 'Bobby Kat'.

Diana is survived by her husband John 'Gowan' Johnson II; sisters, Karen Kohlmann (Wayne), Irene Gaulden (Stephen) and brother, Art Steuerwald; nephew Mitchell Kohlmann (Kari), niece Alexandra Reed (David); great nephew, Joseph Reed and great niece, Samantha Reed; aunts and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 (noon) on Monday, August 16, 2021in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home officiating will be Pastor Robert Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 (noon) at the funeral home prior to the memorial service in the chapel.
