Darrell Amon Blevins, beloved brother, uncle and the very best friend you could ask for, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2021, at age 53.

He was born on June 8, 1968. He was a phenomenal cook and care giver to many. He never met a stranger. To know Darrell was to love Darrell.

He was a lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father, Hayes Jennings Blevins, mother, Viola Kathleen (Wells) Blevins and sister, Viola Kathleen (Blevins) Beard.

He is survived by his lifelong partner and the love of his life, Ken Hunnicut, brothers Hayes Jennings Blevins (Sharon Blevins), Kenyon Eugene Blevins (Judy Blevins), Roger Allen Blevins (Marie Blevins) and sister, Eloise Janet (Blevins) Lingerfelt (Donnie Lingerfelt). Darrell had several nieces and nephews that were dearly loved by him. He was also survived by his beloved dog "Riley".

Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, followed by funeral services at 3 pm located at 4226 North Highway 341, Flintstone, Ga. 30725.
