Daniel G. Sherman, 38, of Chattanooga, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 12, 2020.

Dan was born in Chattanooga and lived in this area for his entire life. He graduated from Bradley Central High School, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration.  Dan worked as a massage therapist, and also enjoyed his side interests of being a D.J., and working as an extra in various film productions. He loved animals and provided a good home to several rescues.  Church was always a very important part of Dan's life. Dan was known as a sociable and kindhearted man who went out of his way to be a help to others. He loved to travel, and especially enjoyed going to beaches in Florida.

Dan is survived by his mother Beverly McGowan Sherman of Uruguay; father and step-mother Steve and Janet Sherman of Soddy Daisy; brother and sister-in law Taylor Sherman and Cynthia Tanty of Cleveland, TN: step-sister and brother in law Sarah and Jacob Faulkner of Chattanooga, step-brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Brooke Gunter of Rossville, Georgia; uncles and aunts, Greg and Dawn Sherman of Tallahassee, Florida, Wes and Donna Ratliff of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Eddie and Sandy McGowan of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as a number of cousins.

The family will have a memorial service at a date and time to be announced.
