Dale W. Pate, 72, of Hixson, passed away on May 21, 2021 at Soddy Daisy Healthcare.

He was born December 21,1948 in Danville, IL. to the late Glenn and Mabel Pate of Catlin, IL.

Dale married Diana on June 15,1973 in Covington IN. They moved to Chattanooga in 1975. Dale worked at Coca Cola as a route driver, he also worked at ADM milling. He was very friendly and outgoing he never met a stranger.  He umpired for Dizzy Dean baseball for several years, Dale loved giving the kids a positive atmosphere to enjoy baseball.

Dale is preceded in death by his daughter Tina Louise Pate of MI.

Dale is survived by daughters, Chrystal Marie Pate and Tamara Mae Newbill (Gregg);

His loving wife Diana of 47 years and their children Christopher Jason, Andrew Wayne (Jennifer) and Jennifer Anne Daniels (Allan);14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A private service will be held by the family on June 15,2021 at 2 o'clock.
