Christine Foote Scoggins, 84, passed away May 25, 2023 surrounded by family. She was born November 8, 1938 to the late Giles and Grace Lewis in Chattanooga, TN.

Christine was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN where she also raised her beautiful family. She worked for 31yrs as a Security Guard for Northgate Mall. Christine enjoyed square dancing, which she was a member of the Dixie Daisy's Square Dancing Club for over 30 years and pulling pranks. She was full of humor, energetic, funny with a great since of humor but also stubborn and ornery as well. Christine loved to travel but best believe when she did, there was a casino there waiting for her to visit. She absolutely enjoyed her slot machines and was a winner. Christine was a proud Diamond Club member at Harrah's Casino. She was truly a woman full of life, who loved her family and kept everyone on their toes with a good laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 20 years, Gene Foote, and husband Bobby Eugene Scoggins of 34 years, son, Kenny Eugene Foote, brothers, Herbert Lewis and Rev. Gene Lewis and sister, Barbara Holland.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Ginger K. Foote, son, Dewayne (Tracy) Foote, grandson, Christopher (Ashley) Foote and great-granddaughters, Hailey and Alivia Foote, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 12:00pm until 3:00pm at Hamilton Funeral Home.
