Margaret Christine Gravitt of Hixson, passed away on June 11, 2023. Chris was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gravitt, parents, Herbert and Nell Meadows, brothers, Herbert Jr., Douglas, and JW; and sister, Geraldine Meadows.

Chris is survived by her daughter Gerri (Larry) Burton, grandsons, Andrew (Carrie) and Nick (Noura) Burton, great-grandson, Russell Willocks, and great-granddaughters, Aubrie; Makenzie; Hunter; and Hayden Burton, and a step-son, Brett (Rhonda) Gravitt.

A Celebration of Christine's Life will be held in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home on Friday June 16, 2023 at 11:00 am with Terry Shannon officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Spring City Cemetery.
