Betty Joyce Hendricks

Betty Joyce Hendricks, 84 of Signal Mountain, TN died on Monday, May 18, 2026.

She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Lawrence Pickett and Christine Miles Pickett.

Betty was an avid quilter, reader and sudoku puzzle solver.  She was one who believed in putting her family first and always made them top priority in her life.  Betty was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Covie Hendricks in 2000 and her brothers, Sidney Pickett and Bill Pickett.

Survivors include her loving daughters, Kim (Jeff) Rogers, Shelia (Bradley) Scott and Sharon (John) Meeks; grandchildren, Josh (Brittney) Knowles, Andy Scott, Brandon (Chrissy) Knowles, Ethan (Sarah) Scott and Mary Christine Rogers; great-grandchildren, Peyton Knowles, Brentley Turner, Seth Marter, Brayden Knowles and Jaxton Knowles; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 ~ 8 PM Friday, May 22, 2026, at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 9 AM Saturday, May 23, 2026, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Rocky Bradford and Jeff Rogers officiating.  Interment will follow at the Chattanooga Memorial Park.
