Betty S. Blythe, 73, was a long time resident of Chattanooga. She was born in Brevard, NC. She loved planting flowers, watching the birds, spending time with family, and helping others.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Harold Blythe, both of TN, mother, Maybell Britt (NC), father, Milbourn Britt (TN), and sister Jane Cook (NC).

She is survived by son, James Blythe (TN), daughter, Becky (Chris) Gray (TX), one adopted son, Ricky Casey (TN), one grandson James D Blythe (NC), two granddaughters, Becca Holloway and Kalynn Gray both of TX, and one great granddaughter, Ophelia Neville (TX). Three brothers- David (Karen) Britt of NC, Daniel (Nancy) Britt and Lewis Britt both of TX and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

All family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

A private family visitation will be held on Tuesday prior to the graveside service at the funeral home.
