Barbara Ann Nelson, age 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026.

A lifelong resident of the area, Barbara was born on November 17, 1946, to the late Roy Leon Creekmur, Sr. and Sarah Phillips Creekmur.

Barbara dedicated more than 35 years of her professional life to serving her community at Erlanger Hospital, where she worked until her retirement. She was a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ, where she found fellowship and  purpose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Leon Creekmur, Sr. and Sarah Creekmur; her beloved children, Robert "Bobby" Mack Bullington and Sarah Moore; and her siblings, Roy Creekmur, Jr. and Donna Sue Stansberry.

Barbara's memory will be lovingly carried forward by her daughter‑in‑law, Sarah Reynolds Bullington, and by her two grandchildren, Reagan Elizabeth Bullington and Robert Austin Bullington, who were truly the apples of her eye.

In accordance with Barbara's wishes, no formal funeral or memorial services will be held.

She will be deeply missed by her family and by the many friends whose lives she touched.
